How long will my project take?The duration of your project depends on its size and scope. Generally, custom built new home or extension can take anywhere from 6 to 12 months. We provide an estimated timeline with your Concept Budget and a guaranteed timeframe at the contract stage, tailored to your specific project.

Can we build from your existing plans?Absolutely! Monteleone Home Builders can work from your existing plans or offer full design services. While some builders restrict you to their designs, we provide flexibility. Our in-house design and drafting team can help you explore ideas that fit your budget, and we manage the entire project from start to finish, whether you’re using our designs or your own.

Can I make changes or upgrades during construction?Yes, variations are a normal part of our building process at Monteleone Home Builders. Whether it’s upgrading materials or making design changes, our team will assist with every detail. We ensure transparency with no hidden fees, and any additional costs will be clearly explained in your contract.

Does construction begin immediately after signing the contract?Construction usually begins 4-6 weeks after signing the contract, depending on site access and necessary permits. Monteleone Home Builders ensures that all preliminary steps are completed efficiently so your project can commence as soon as possible.

Can I access my home during construction?For safety and compliance, access to your home during construction is regulated. Monteleone Home Builders arranges regular site meetings, but any additional visits must be scheduled in advance and accompanied by your Project Manager. This ensures everyone’s safety while keeping you informed.

Who oversees the construction and timeframes?Your project will be overseen by a dedicated Project Supervisor, ensuring daily operations run smoothly. Additionally, a Contracts Administrator will be part of your Construction Team, assisting with selections and serving as your main point of contact in the office. You’ll also have access to a customer portal to stay updated on your project’s progress at all times.

How is my property insured during the build?You’ll need to verify with your insurance provider that your policy covers the existing structure during construction. While Monteleone Home Builders’ insurance covers new construction, it’s important to ensure that your home and belongings are protected. We can also assist in securing additional coverage if needed.
